The One day Komodo Tour With Speed Boat is designed for travelers who want to touch, taste, and feel the souls of Komodo National Park but have only short holiday schedule. More than just to see Komodo Dragons, the trip offers iconic destinations and must-see spots with the hidden corners around the Komodo National Park.
Start the day early with a hotel pick-up in Labuan Bajo, then head to the harbor and board your private speedboat. From here, it takes around one hour across the open sea to Padar Island.
Arrive at Padar in the morning, when the air is still fresh and the sun is not yet too strong. A short but fairly steep hike takes you up the famous viewpoint, where you can enjoy the spectacular scenery of three bays, white sandy beaches, rugged hills, and the endless blue sea. Take your time here for photos and simply enjoy the peaceful island atmosphere.
Continue by boat to Komodo Island, the natural home of the legendary Komodo dragons. After registering at the ranger station and receiving a short safety briefing, follow the ranger into the dry forest and savanna. With a little luck, you may encounter Komodo dragons along the trail, as well as Timor deer, wild boar, buffalo, and various native birds.
After the trek, continue to Pink Beach, one of the beautiful coastal spots around Komodo. The clear, shallow water is perfect for snorkeling, while the pinkish sand comes from tiny pieces of red coral mixed with the white sand. Relax on the beach, swim, or snorkel while enjoying a simple lunch by the sea.
Later, head towards Manta Point for another snorkeling experience. If the conditions are good, you may have the chance to see manta rays gliding gracefully through the clear water. Seeing these gentle giants underwater is one of the memorable moments of a Komodo day trip.
In the afternoon, continue to Rinca Island, another important habitat of the Komodo dragon. Walk with the ranger through the dry forest and open savanna, keeping an eye out for Komodo dragons and other wildlife along the way.
After the final trek, return to the speedboat and cruise back to Labuan Bajo. Arrive in the late afternoon, bringing back a full day of island scenery, wildlife encounters, snorkeling, and unforgettable memories from Komodo National Park. Meet your driver at the harbor, then transfer to your hotel.
